PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. Juvent, a Florida-based medical technology company with a leading focus in bone health, is now an active alliance partner of the International Center for Long Term Care Innovation, also known as InnovateLTC in downtown Louisville.
Innovate LTC is the acclaimed industry accelerator building the premier facility for showcasing aging care products and services from all over the world. The center has office space at University of Louisvilles Nucleus site, in downtown Louisville, and will have a major presence in a new 160,000-s.f. research facility expected to be finished in late 2013.
Juvent will participate in InnovateLTCs Consumer Experience Center, which will foster interdisplinary interaction and be a place for designing, pitching and testing products, services and technologies for the 50+ market. The ecosystem enables participation for consumer groups, healthcare providers, academics, and emerging companies to create and innovate together.
The company recently exhibited its Juvent Dynamic Motion Therapy platform at the National Osteoporosis Foundations (NOF) Interdisciplinary Symposium on Osteoporosis 2013 (ISO13) April 18-21 in Chicago. Its gentle vibrating platform, the patented Juvent 1000N, offers a non-drug treatment, an exercise methodology, specifically designed for bone health.
The Juvent technology is based on 20 years of academic and clinical research, backed by more than 100 published articles, and 34 in peer-reviewed journals. New research continues at St. Jude Childrens Hospital; Hebrew SeniorLife, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
Juvent also announced its recent appointment to the Corporate Advisory Roundtable of NOF.
